Why the hell does a 13 year old have sideburns anyway? Just save yourself the trouble and leave that part of the wig long. You could try growing your own sideburns or drawing them on. Sideburns aren’t really possible to make with a wig. Whenever I see his canon art all I can think is that he looks like an early John Lennon, so that’s one way to go about styling your wig. He has long sideburns and pointy straight across bangs. Sollux has short, straight hair that flips up on the sides.

SOLLUX CAPTOR COSPLAY HOW TO
Since there’s not much of a difference, I suggest you go look at my Terezi guide for information on how to do the horns. Your preference will decide how you do it. In some pictures it looks like they line up straight, and in others it looks like the smaller ones are farther back. Sollux’s horns aren’t too challenging to make since they’re just simple curves, but it’s hard to tell exactly where they’re oriented. This guide covers his horns, hair, eyes, glasses, and clothes. The rest isn’t as hard to do as it looks, and if you put in the effort you can actually get yourself to look pretty close to being a real-life Sollux. A lot of the stuff you need to cosplay him can be found in a mall or a Walmart. Carrying along the theme of two, he doubles all of his “i’s,” replaces all of his “s’s” with “2” and his “to’s” and “too’s” with “two.” This gives his speech the impression of a lisp.Sollux Captor is another easy troll to cosplay. As common with his species, he has a unique typing quirk that identifies his communication in Homestuck. He is associated with the zodiac sign Gemini and he has two matching horns protruding from either side of his head. This alludes to his ability to foresee events, and revels his fate to go blind in the near future. It also references his fate of dying twice in two distinct armageddons. As his handle suggests, he is infatuated with the recurrence of doubles in all aspects of his life. He is also known by his Trollian handle, twinArmageddons. Sollux Captor is one of the twelve troll characters in Homestuck. With fans reported in the millions, Cosplaying as any homestuck character will gain you instant recognition at a variety of conventions and events. Homestuck cemented itself in geek and cosplay culture after its release in 2009 after becoming of the most popular and complex web comic series in popular media.
We recommend either hit gluing the horns to a headband or individual hair clips. Note, we have provided two accurately shaped horn sets for Sollux’s double horns as well as orange, yellow and red paint to DIY paint the horns the correct color.
SOLLUX CAPTOR COSPLAY SKIN
Primary costume items include his black shirt with a gemini zodiac symbol, his red and blue lens sunglasses, grey pants, one black and one white shoe, grey skin and horns. Cosplaying with a Sollux Captor Costume will be a slightly involved Homestuck option.
